Day by Day Tour Program

Day 1:

After our arrival in Malta at local time, we will take a panoramic tour of the three cities. Sit back and explore with us the cities of Birgu-Vittoriosa, Bormla-Cospicua and L-Isla-Senglea, also known as Cottonera, built and supported by the Knights of Malta. After our Cottonera bus tour, we will walk through the narrow, colorful streets of the mystical and mysterious city of Birgu-Vittoriosa, seeing the city gates, historical churches and palaces. At the end of our tour, we will go to our hotel. Free time after hotel registration. Accommodation at our hotel.

Day 2:

After breakfast at our hotel, free time all day. Guests who wish can join our Mosta & Dingli Cliff & Rabat-Mdina & Valletta tour, which our guide will organize as an extra. At our first stop, we visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, also known as Mosta Dome, which has the third largest dome in Europe. Inside this large church in Mosta, we will see the replica of the 200 kg bomb that was dropped by German Nazi planes in World War II in 1942, which penetrated the dome and stuck to the floor of the church but did not explode, and we will get information about the interior and exterior architecture of the church. After leaving Mosta, we visit Mdina, the old capital of Malta, where we will have a lunch break after seeing Rabat, which was colonized in 700 BC and has narrow streets from the history surrounding Mdina. We enter the old medieval capital of Mdina, surrounded by walls, where the unforgettable scenes of the famous series Game of Thrones were filmed, through the main gate. After seeing the palaces and mansions belonging to various noble families in the narrow, labyrinthine streets of this medieval city known as the “Silent City” and receiving information from our guide about St. Paul’s Cathedral, our guests can enjoy the view from the top of the city walls. After free time and lunch, we depart from Mdina and go to Valletta, the capital of Malta, a city adorned with the most beautiful baroque buildings in the world. It was chosen as the European Capital of Culture for 2018 by the Council of Ministers of the European Union. We will explore the city by walking the lively streets of the capital Valletta with our guide. On our city tour, which will start by passing through the city gate, we will see the New Parliament Building, the Royal Opera House, the Auberge Palace, the Triton Fountain, the Auberge D’Italie building, the Napoleon Building, the Baraka Gardens with a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and the three old cities surrounded by walls, St. John’s Cathedral and Square, the Grandmaster Palace & Courtyard and St. George’s Square. At the end of the Valletta city tour, we return to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel. In the evening, we depart for our Marsaxlokk tour, which we will organize as an extra for our guests who wish. We will visit the fishing village called “Marsaxlokk” with its colorful fishing boats and ornate harbor and beautiful houses that show the entire texture of the Island of Malta. You should not miss the view of the small, cute fishing boats called Luzzo, which have colors and designs specific to Malta. In this charming fishing village, where an open market is also set up and meets all the fresh fish needs of the Island of Malta, we will have free time for our guests to have dinner at local restaurants with menus consisting of fresh fish and seafood. Guests who wish can taste the delicious food of the restaurant accompanied by the sea view. After the tour, your transfers will be made to our hotel at the time announced by our guide.

Day 3:

After breakfast at our hotel, free time all day. Guests who wish can join our Gozo Island tour, which our guide will organize as an extra. After breakfast, we start our full-day tour by departing from the hotel for our tour. In the morning, at the time specified by our guide, we set off towards Cirkewwa Port to cross to Gozo Island. We cross to Gozo by ferry from the port. Gozo Island is a lush green place where life has stopped compared to Malta; it is a true paradise island. First, we see the Inland Sea and Mushroom Rock. This region is where very famous movies such as Troy, Gladiator, Game of Thrones were shot and is one of the most important diving spots in Malta. Then, we visit T’pino Church, which used to be a small chapel in the past but has been converted into a very large votive church today, and after making our wishes, we taste the world-famous local products of Gozo Island: honey, marmalade, carob molasses, olives, olive oil, Gozo Cheese, wine and liqueurs. We arrive at the fishing town of Xelendi for lunch and free time. Guests who wish can have a seafood lunch here. After lunch, we arrive at Victoria Rabat, the capital of the island of Gozo. We see St. George’s Basilica and walk through the narrow streets. Then we arrive at Mgarr Harbour by car, take a ferry to Malta and return to our hotels. Accommodation at our hotel. Guests who want to spend the evening in Valetta can join our transfer, which we will organize as an extra, and you can have a pleasant time in the restaurants and bars of this beautiful city, which takes on a different beauty in the evening. Day 4:

After breakfast and hotel check-out, we hand in our room keys to the reception. We will have free time for the rest of the day. Guests who wish can join the extra Popeye’s Village and Blue Grotto tour, which will be organized by our guide, in the free time until our flight. We arrive at Popeye Village, where the movie Popeye was filmed in 1980. Here, guests who wish can buy tickets and tour the village and watch the shows of Popeye, Safinaz and Kaba Beard. They can take panoramic photos of the entire bay from the top of the hill. After our Popeye’s Village tour, we go to the Blue Grotto, located on the south coast of the island with our private transfer vehicle, which is a proof of Malta’s geological beauty and a must-see for those visiting the country.
